It provides a quick and easy way for customers to retrieve contact information for Vishay representatives, distributors, and sales offices around the globe. Its design emphasizes "one-stop shopping" by providing immediate results via one universal locator page, as opposed to the less user-friendly click-around systems offered by some of our competitors.

Vishay's elaborate network of over one thousand sales channels, each representing some or all of our products in hundreds of sales territories, required a novel approach to searching. In developing the Sales Channel Locator system, the corporate Marketing Communications Department focused on two questions: What kind of products is the customer looking for? Where is the customer located? When users of the Sales Channel Locator answer these basic questions, a database-generated report delivers address, phone, fax, and product authorization information.
