Vishay Intertechnology and Walsin Technology Announce Joint Participation in Technological and Marketing Alliance

MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA — October 31, 2003 — Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) and Walsin Technology Corporation have announced their joint participation in a technological and marketing alliance. This alliance was formally initiated at a signing ceremony on Saturday, October 25, at The Sherwood in Taipei, Taiwan. The ceremony featured speeches by Mr. Y.H. Chiao, Chairman of Walsin Technology, and Dr. Gerald Paul, President and Chief Operating Officer of Vishay Intertechnology.
