Vishay continues to expand its die and wafer business to provide a wide range of products that meet the most stringent customer requirements for power conversion (input, switch, and output), infrared emitting and detecting, as well as ambient light detecting applications. While random sample tests of IR emitter dice and wafers already ensure high quality, photodetectors and all rectifier chips are 100 % probed and visually inspected to ensure the very highest quality requirements of most customers. Certain die and wafer products can also be thermally and mechanically optimized for customer applications to reduce development time and design costs.
